"The army's gone batty"

Films: Bats-Human Harvest (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Twice that of average fruit bats.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Remember that time when a flock of horrendous bulldog-faced bats attacked a small town in 1999? This time...the general public is safe. The same can not be said for the squadron sent to the forests of Chechnya, where even worse winged terror awaits...

History: The isolated Chechnyan forests harbor a dark secret. A strain of large, genetically modified bats make the place their home, and they hate anyone who comes near it. So you can imagine the joy that Delta Force team must have felt when their mission became a fight for survival against these flying pests, who'd love nothing more than to mob and eat them all.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually with some unforeseen help, the survivors manage to lure the bats via some special noises into a place rigged to explode. All of the bats perish in the ensuing explosion...except for at least one.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: A serum has been made that can negate the bats' will to attack you due to them perceiving you as unsavory pickings. Also, noises of certain frequencies get their undivided attention.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Once again, the swarm method is no pleasant way to die. But the horrid CGI on these oversized rodents undoes just about any fright one might have had initially.

Trivia: -In spite of being a sequel to "Bats", nothing from the original film's events are alluded to at all.

-This film's director, Jamie Dixton, had a hand in the visual effects of films such as "Deep Blue Sea".
